Dr. Jonas earned her PhD in Pharmacology from Weill Cornell University in New York City. Her dissertation research focused on understanding the involvement of the innate immune system and anti-viral processes in Alzheimer’s disease and Tauopathy. Prior to her doctoral work, Lauren earned her MPH in Neurotoxicology at Rollins School of Public Health, and her B.S in Environmental Health & English Literature at Emory University.
