Dr. White earned her PhD in Cell Biology at Northwestern University where her worked focused on mitochondrial dynamics and received her B.A. in Biology from Amherst College. While completing her graduate studies, Dr. White participated in the Management for Scientists and Engineers Certificate Program at the Kellogg School of Management. Subsequently, she worked with Northwestern’s Innovation and New Ventures Office (INVO) evaluating university technologies across fields for patentability and commercialization as well as analyzed the potential competitive landscape for each technology. In addition, at INVO, she conducted interviews with customers and field experts toward defining and testing the value proposition for novel university technologies in the market.
