Dr. Leach earned his PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Northwestern University. His dissertation research focused on the development of high titer bacterial secretion systems for commercial protein production. He received his B.Sc. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Prior to starting at inThought, Dr. Leach interned as a biotechnology research analyst at Piper Sandler serving institutional investment clients. He also worked as a consultant for PowerPlan, Inc. specializing in ERP software implementation.
